I once had a roommate who greeted people like she was 6 years-old. I love that! It entirely changed the atmosphere of the encounter from, "Hello..." to "HELLO!!!! SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!!! I MISSED YOU!!" What I've noticed is that people buy into it, too. Try it and see what happens. :-)
